“There are opportunities out there for me. I’m not completely broken and alone.”
Take Charge runs for 12 weeks at a time, three times a year. Participants can start at any time, continue for as long as they want, and attend few or all the sessions.
“It gives me courage to change and hope that I can get healthy and sober.”
Each Take Charge meeting takes place Thursday mornings from 9:30am – 11am at Calvin Christian Reformed Church, 700 Ethel SE in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

“Going into the real world isn’t going to be a huge slap in the face, I can break it down into sections and get through it easier and safer.”
